NO
Wood. NO Rot. NO Worries. - If you've been a boater for any
length of time, you've probably witnessed the failure of wood in a boat.
Wood floors, seat bases and transoms are all susceptible to time and
water. Sooner or later even treated wood will rot, and it is very
frustrating and expensive to repair. The only
reason anyone still puts wood in a boat is because it's cheaper and
easier! Caravelle doesn't cut corners when building your
boat.
Many companies talk about
wood-free this and wood-free that, yet fail to mention the use of plywood
in transoms, stringers, side panels, seats or sub floors. Rest assured,
your Caravelle has absolutely no wood anywhere in the boat. Not in the
transom. Not in the stringers, Not in the side panels, seat, or sub
floors. Nowhere. There is no wood anywhere in your Caravelle. Not many
companies can make that claim.

Super
Structured Molds -
Every Caravelle Powerboat
begins in a steel reinforced mold. This sturdy system ensures consistent
quality and structural integrity throughout the life of your boat. Many of
our competitors use wood framed molds that will allow flexing and
inconsistencies. Each Caravelle hull remains in the mold throughout the
critical curing process to remove the chance of distortion. And every mold
goes through a rigorous maintenance schedule to make sure each part
maintains its genuine shape and luster.

We use a Total
Composite System consisting of:
ArmorFlex® - a more flexible
gelcoat for superior resistance to stress cracks and crazing.
ArmorCote®
- for accent colors; producing a brighter, fade resistant shine.
ArmorGuard®
- an advanced blister resistant barrier coat with a limited one
year blister warranty.
TCS 6000 Resin - completes the
Total Composite System producing the finest gelcoat/resin combination in
the industry
|
Knytex®
Knitted Fiberglass is hand laid
in alternating layers. Because it is multi-directional (quad-axial), it produces
a stronger boat than the older woven roving (bi-axial) process. It is more
impact resistant and produces a smoother and clearer finish. |

|
 |
Our All
Fiberglass Stringer system is foam-filled for excellent
support and durability. Closed-cell foam flotation, standard on every
Caravelle, enhances safety and sound dampening. |
|
Nida-Core -
Our floors and decks are
reinforced with Nida-Core, a synthetic honeycomb material that produces a
strong, yet lightweight foundation. Nida-Core is far superior to either
balsa or plywood. |
 |

Our new SofTech
bucket seats are the ultimate in comfort, design and styling.
These innovative seats utilize ergonomic designs and leaf spring
suspensions, providing the softest most comfortable ride on the water. The
new SofTech seat also incorporates a flip-up bolster cushion allowing an
elevated view above the windshield. This design also creates extra floor
space so you can stand behind the wheel during docking. Driver and passenger
side SofTech bucket seats are standard on all Caravelle and Interceptor
boats 18 feet and larger. |
| Heavy
Duty Vinyl - Our upholstery is made from heavy duty 32oz
expanded vinyl with a Stain Resistant Topcoat (SRT). This protective
barrier and the UV and mildew inhibitors will keep your boat's interior
looking new. |
 |
|

|
Upholstery - Our
composite seat bases are more durable than wood and the aluminum braces
adds even more strength. High-density foam is firm yet very comfortable.
and a biocide treatment protects from mildew.
|
|
Non-Skid
Fiberglass Floors and Lids -
Many models feature one-piece fiberglass floors that eliminate squeaks and
rattles. With fewer seams there are less places to collect or trap debris.
Diamond Step non-skid is slip-resistant and comfortable to bare feet. |
